SHGs (self-help groups) play an important role in making more women form SHGs and realize its importance in their empowerment. It helps women in collective decision-making and increases their confidence and capabilities. We used to meet regularly, once a month. It has provided a great incentive to make the poor self-reliant and give them hope.
